Swiss Watch brand Longines has joined the Saudi Cup as Official Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch. The event will take place at King Abdulaziz Racecourse, Riyadh on February 28th and 29th, 2020.

The Saint-Imier-based company Longines, which has long-term ties with the world of international horseracing, will act as Official Partner, Official Watch and Official Timekeeper of this much-awaited equestrian event. Two days of racing culminates in the Saudi Cup race itself where its $20 million purse will make it one of the world’s most valuable horseraces.

In addition, Longines will become the Title Partner of the LONGINES TURF HANDICAP – a contest over 3,000m (1m 7f) on the track’s new, sate-of-the art turf course – the first ever turf competition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The race, originally named the Red Sea Handicap, has attracted entries from around the world and looks set to become one of the strongest fields ever assembled for a turf race.
