The UK’s favourite theme parks have been revealed by Tripadvisor. Family favourite Paultons Park in Romsey, Hants., topped the list, followed by The Milky Way Adventure Park in Clovelly, North Devon. The results were based on the reviews and ratings left on TripAdvisor by visitors to the attractions.

The Travellers’ Choice Amusement & Water Parks 2019 list also featured popular attractions like Blackpool Pleasure Beachand Alton Towers.

1: Paultons Park came in at number one again. Paultons is home to the UK exclusive and world’s first Peppa Pig World with 9 fun Peppa-themed rides, a large indoor Playzone and even Muddy Puddles to jump and play in.

2: The Milky Way Adventure Park has added Ziggy’s Blast Quest for 2019 – a fun and exciting interactive experience, where players help save Planet Earth by piloting Cyber Scooters and shooting at the space rocks with Blasteroid Lasers. 

3: Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool; The UK’s only Nickelodeon Land is at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, with a whole host of Nickelodeon characters from the world’s number one children’s entertainment channel.

4: Clifton Park, Rotherham; With parks, gardens and sport, rides and games and even an amazing museum, Clifton Park has everything for the perfect day out! Clifton Park features a number of family-friendly activities, including a mini golf and fun park for kids.

5: Sundown Adventureland, Retford; Sundown Adventureland is a theme park specifically for the under 10’s, and offers a fantastic day out for all the family.

6: Adventure Island, Southend-on-Sea; Adventure Island Fun Park is a free admission Fun Park. Situated on Southend-on-Sea’s famous seafront it has over 40  rides and attractions including the outragous RAGE roller coaster. 

7: Crealy Family Theme Park, Exeter; Crealy Family Theme Park has a whole host of attractions and you can also stay there for a short break. The park has hot tub lodges and glamping areas and also hosts events.

8: Brighton Palace Pier, Brighton; Brighton Palace Pier has lots of traditional fairground rides For more traditional rides, Brighton Palace Pier is the place to visit. There’s everything from a carousel to trampolines.

9: Harbour Park, Littlehampton; It’s located right by the waterfront and all the rides are ocean-themed as well.

10: Alton Towers, Alton; Alton Towers needs no introduction thanks to its famous rollercoasters, but you can also do mini breaks there.
