Client need:
Project-The build, opening and development of Limerick Racecourse in Ireland, the first brand-new greenfield site turf track and grandstand facilities to be built in Europe since 1952.
What we did:
IVM founding partner Angus Houston was appointed during the design and build phase as the managing director of the entire facility and successfully oversaw the full activation of opening of this grade one Racecourse and its facilities.
Outcome:
Limerick racecourse became one of the most successful and innovative horseracing businesses in the island of Ireland, pioneering numerous commercial industry initiatives including student race days, international jockeys challenges and record-breaking partnerships and sponsorship arrangements.
