Liverpool’s brand-new 10,000 capacity arena was opened in 2008 in time for the European capital of culture award for the city of Liverpool. Key requirement was to immediately establish the arena in the international market

What we did:

A Senior IVM Associate was appointed at senior executive level right from the start of the project, before the building was even completed, tasked with driving all core strategies. 

This included populating the venue with over 100 events per year including live music and sport and developing deep international relations with music and sports promoters

Outcome:

The Arena in Liverpool continues today to be recognised on the international stage as an iconic venue, in an iconic city, fulfilling all the key aspects of the full operating model that a global arena requires
